ABOUT NICK
Nick Baker (Nicholas James Baker) was born in Paddington (a suburb of) Sydney on the 10th March 1957. Soon after being born his family moved to Canberra where he spent his primary school days and then returned to Sydney in 1969. He attended Barker College on Sydney’s North Shore from years 8 through 12. He became a Christian in 1975 and ultimately returned to Canberra to attend University in 1976.
He holds dual degree qualifications in both Computing (1979) and Professional Accounting (1988).
Nick’s extensive professional / working career has spanned both Public and Private Sector’s and included a wide range of management consulting and assurance engagements across both Information Technology and Public Sector Accounting.
He was a recognized leader in Government Finance and Treasury both in Australia and Overseas and was a Senior Partner at KPMG for 20 years from 1995 to 2015 when he retired.
Since his retirement (2015) he has remained active by serving – as either an Independent Chair / Member - on a number of large Australian Government Audit and Risk Committees.
He remains a Fellow of Certified Practicing Accountants Australia (FCPA) and a Member of the Australian Computing Society (MACS).
Nick has long held a passion for understanding all things “End Times” – ever since he was a young Christian.
His background and extensive consulting experience over 40 years lends a unique perspective on ‘End Time’ prophetic schemes of arrangement.
When Nick is not writing books on End Time Prophecy from the side of his desk – he enjoys time with his family.
He is married to Robyn (1979) and they have four adult children and ten grandchildren. They attend Vision Church in Canberra.
